Amy’s motivation for writing this book stems from her own life experiences as the caregiver to her husband Brian as well as a mother of special needs children and spiritual mentor to many. She has tasted the bittersweet reality of navigating complex emotions and faith challenges that accompany not only terminal illness and death but also the loss of multiple children as well as the deaths of her father and father in law. Amy has emerged resilient and radiant, eager to share the wisdom she has gathered along the way. She believes that in the face of impending goodbye, it is crucial to celebrate your loved one’s journey, offering continual love and support while also nurturing your own soul and hope for the future. This book is her heartfelt invitation to walk alongside you, illuminating the path through the darkest moments toward a horizon filled with love and understanding.
